Employment minister Priti Patel and MP Chloe Smith visited Norse last week, and interviewed Interprint employee Lewis Wise about his journey from Project Search to employment. Lewis has been with us for 4 years, working as a finisher on many different print projects. He also has the responsibility of sorting post for all of the Norse group at the Fifers Lane office, as well as assisting with the HR department in their daily tasks.
We’re glad to have Lewis here at Interprint and want to congratulate him on his journey to success, well done Lewis!
Lewis’s interview will appear at about 1:25 into the video.
Happy 50th Ash!
This week at Interprint we celebrate the 50th birthday of Ash, one of our lithographic printers who has been with the company for 15 years. In celebration of his birthday and all his hard work the Interprint team chipped together to get him a birthday hamper.
As part of a recent upgrade Interprint replaced their ageing proofer with a brand new Epson SureColour Sc-S30600 machine. This upgrade will allow us to expand the range of services that we are currently able to offer. The SC-S30600 can produce everything from posters, signs, banners and POS to vehicle wraps, interior decorations and exhibition displays. With a wide range of media supported we are now able to print on vinyl, canvas, clear film, photographic paper and a range of popular other banner substrates.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Eaglen. Love was in the air on Saturday 8th August as our print finisher Gareth married his fiancée Kerry at the Oaklands Hotel in Thorpe. All of Gareths Interprint colleagues joined the happy couple in the evening to help them celebrate and a good time was had by all. We all wish them much happiness with their new lives together as a married couple.
As part of a recent rebrand we decided to update the look of Interprint’s business cards. The new look cards are printed on 350gsm Perfect Image board with a Matt Laminate coating on both sides. Interprint finished off the cards with a crease to create the opening that reveals the contact details. The Business cards are just the start to Interprint’s branding and brand revamp to drive Interprint and it’s new look in Norwich.
Interprint was recently charged with the job of creating a new look Interprint-NORSE business card. The new cards have been printed on to a 350gsm silk and Matt Laminated on both sides. To give the cards that extra special touch Spot UV has been applied to the Norse symbol on the reverse. The new design has gone down very well which is always good to hear.
On Friday 31st July Interprint waved goodbye to Alan Walls. Alan decided to retired after nearly 50 years in the print industry, 8 of which he spent Interprint. Alan was a popular member of staff at Interprint and was joined by many of his colleagues for a meal at The Oakes after his last shift to wish him a fond farewell. Everyone at Interprint wishes Alan well in his retirement.
What better way to let our hair down than with a Summer Social. Everyone headed down to Riverside Norwich for a few drinks and a spot of Ten Pin Bowling. Big congrats to our printer @Ashbaldy66 who was top bowler on the night.
